Alpine lake – one of the warmest swimming lakes in Tirol (up to 24°C)

This natural jewel with warm swimming water, wild forests, views, hiking and cycling trails is just 400 metres from the Piburg Studios.

On the eastern shore of the lake you will find a wooden swimming pool with sun terrace, a boathouse and a panoramic restaurant. There is a floating raft on the lake, which invites you to jump into the water or simply sunbathe and relax.

The entire area around the lake is one of the oldest protected natural areas in Austria. It is home to many rare alpine animals and plants (white water lilies, trout, perch and arctic char).

In winter, the lake is transformed into a unique natural ice rink for ice skating.
